Digital Marketing Specialist – Google Ads

We are seeking a results-driven volunteer Digital Marketing Specialist to lead our Google Ads strategy. In this role, you will oversee the implementation and optimization of a $10k monthly Google Grant for both Walking in Step With God Ministries and Bridge of Kindness https://bridgeofkindness.org. Bridge of Kindness is a non-profit dedicated to building stronger communities by connecting individuals in need with donors and volunteers ready to offer compassion and support. This is a high-impact opportunity for a skilled marketer to take full ownership of a significant budget and drive meaningful growth for two dedicated organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop an effective Google Ads strategy aligned with our organization’s goals and objectives.
  • Campaign Planning and Setup: Conduct thorough keyword research, competitor analysis, and audience targeting to create well-structured Google Ads campaigns.
  • Ad Creation and Copywriting: Develop compelling ad copy and creative assets to maximize click-through rates (CTRs) and conversion rates.
  • Account Management: Monitor and manage Google Ads accounts, including budget allocation, bid adjustments, and campaign performance optimization.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Analyze campaign data, generate reports, and provide regular updates on key performance indicators (KPIs) to stakeholders.
  • Optimization and Testing: Continuously optimize campaigns based on data-driven insights and conduct A/B tests to improve ad performance.
  • Stay Up-to-date: Stay abreast of industry trends, updates, and best practices in Google Ads to ensure our organization remains at the forefront of digital marketing.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience managing Google Ads campaigns is highly desirable, but not mandatory.
  • Proficient knowledge of the Google Ads platform and its various features.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and other web analytics tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data to drive campaign optimization.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.
  • Passion for our organization’s mission and dedication to making a positive impact.

Bonus Points:

While not required, we’d love to see candidates who bring experience in:

  • Multi-Platform Fluency: Proven track record managing and optimizing campaigns within Facebook Ads (Meta Ads Manager) and Amazon Ads.
  • Cross-Channel Strategy: Ability to attribute conversions and manage budgets across a diverse advertising mix.
  • Platform Specifics: Familiarity with Meta’s Pixel/Conversions API.
